Yeah. Black, White and Gray. It's classic indy comic technique and the manga kids love it.
Your sepia stuff rocks. Sepia all the way.

Realistically, some of the black & white work one sees in comics might originally have been sepia, but printing sepia means printing in colour, which is comparatively very expensive.
Personally I quite like pure black & white - no grey - but I'd just keep doing what you're doing, and if you want to switch to greyscale rather than sepia there's always Photoshop.
